Halloween Party at The Brescia's

This year Karen and Waldo once again hosted a fabulous Halloween party at their place. The food was awesome, the company was wonderful and we all had so much fun!  Although the kids usually sleep around 10pm, we actually stayed on at the party till 1am this morning.  Thanks again Karen and Waldo for having us!

Feeling grateful.....

Not a day goes by where I do not count my blessings for the people I have around me. I feel so fortunate to have good friends who help us and support us so much even though we're thousands of miles away from home and our family.  Ever since we sold our cars, electrical appliances and furniture here, our friends here have been nothing but kind and helpful in offering to lend us their cars, appliances and even cooking for us.  Its times like these that I feel so grateful and thankful for the people we have in our lives......

Yesterday night we sold away our second car and thank goodness for such great friends and neighbours we have here, the hubby and I are still able to move around freely throughout the day to go to work and to run our errands.

This morning we were at the hospital by 8 30am to see the gynea and he assured us that everything is good, although he still can't explain why I have the pain in bum from sleeping sideways.
Nyla is growing well and one very active little bun in the oven, kicking and pushing inside me throughout the day.

The countdown has begun and its another 11 more days before we board our flight to start our journey home to the sunny island. The thought of it makes me miss all my friends and neighbours here already......

For the past few weeks I've not had to cook as often as I used to because we've been having dinners with friends and I must say its as though my stomach and taste buds have been extremely thankful for that! 

We also held a garage sale last weekend and managed to clear away most of the items which we do not intend to bring home with us to Singapore.  Although our packing is almost done, there's still a lot of detailed labeling and filling up of forms to do.  Homeschooling the kids while trying to cook, clean, pack and take care of the family's needs is quite a challenge but its the thought of going home soon that causes me to have trouble sleeping at night. There's so much that I can't bear to leave behind here...... 

Moved to tears......

Yesterday I was down with a fever and the chills with aching joints and the cold and wet weather outside which had lasted for over 48 hours didn't help either.  And yet at some point during the day I felt as though I was bathing in the warm sunshine, overflowing with joy and love all thanks to my dearest friend who never fails to bring a smile to my face no matter what. Thank you so much my dear friend.....
