These are so easily taken for granted. Meals with loved ones, having the time to relax and read a book, taking the kids to Macdonalds for some happy food after tuition and heading to the library after...... the list goes on. And I've come to realise how easy it is to forget to make time to do these things that make me happy because of work and teaching commitments. Now that I am taking the time off work for my family, I couldn't be more grateful for everything and everyone around me. Its so important to know when to push the stop button and get off that crazy train to enjoy and take in the scenery in slow motion or stillness and calm.
While sitting down with these guys enjoying some fries and juice this afternoon, we started talking about what they wanted to do this year. Now obviously all Small wanted to do was "to go to the Polliwogs for ever and ever". But Large and Medium..... these two guys had some serious goals for the year 2015. Nyx wanted to get straight As and earn a trip to Japan to visit her darling aunt Stephanie and Nya wanted to make a trip back to the United States to go visit Mckenzie. This got me thinking really hard again about my goals for this year because I've been a little more careful with draft 1. Thank for inspiring me yet again my minions.
And The Story Continues....

A long distance relationship
How many years has it been since we started this long distance relationship? 9 or 10 years? Ever since we were little we'd share pretty much about everything under the sun and the moon.
My sister Stephanie has always been there for me through ups and downs despite us living in different continents and timezones. And whenever we get to meet, its as if we just saw one another the day before..... that familiarity, that bond and the love we have just seems to strengthen as we get older. Thank you for being my sister, my partner in crime and aunt to the 3 minions.

Dreadful urinary tract infection
Last Wednesday Nyla was admitted to the hospital with a urinary tract infection which caused her to have high fevers..... and she was barely even 3 weeks old =(
The doctor did blood tests, a spinal tap, a urine test and a stool test. It was so heart wrenching to hear her crying through all this and I kept wishing that I could the take pain and discomfort in her place.
Thank goodness she's well now and she was discharged from the hospital after 4 days.
My little girl was so brave throughout it all and even managed to gain half a kilogram despite having fevers and being put on the drip.
After we left the hospital, we still had to return twice a day for the intravenous antibiotic drip which takes over an hour each time to administer. This went on for three days before the doctor agreed to remove the drip plug and give her oral antibiotics for the next 10 days.
Its been a real challenge for me as the daddy man left for Thailand last Sunday morning when Nyla was just 3 weeks old and I've had to handle her by myself every day and night while taking care of Nyx and Nya too. But all this is worth it whenever I look at the children......

Nyla is 2 weeks old!
Can't believe its already been 2 weeks since our littlest princess arrived! So far all our checkups with the pediatrician and gyneacologist have gone well and Nyla and I have been staying home ALOT during this confinement period.
She still sleeps a lot during the day and parties on all night, which isn't too great for me cos during the day time I still have to take care of Nyx and Nya who have been staying home the past week due to fevers and a bad cough. Even their dad is down with the cough too!
Hopefully this dreaded virus clears soon as its been quite a challenge keeping Nyx and Nya away from Nyla for fear of spreading the virus to her. Here are some of the pictures we took over the past 2 weeks :)

Just two more weeks to go!
And the countdown begins........ In just two weeks time, Nyla will be saying HI! to everyone. Her EDD had to be brought forward as my amniotic fluid level is a little low and my doctor is concerned. I was admitted into the hospital again yesterday morning for observation and after a couple of hours being strapped to the CDG monitor, we were given the all clear and discharged. This means that we will be able to celebrate the Chinese New Year with our family and friends here! =)
The girls are always so happy to go to school.....
Breakfast at the hawker center nearby.
Celebrating Chinese New Year at school.
Under observation at the hospital again.
Tossing the Chinese salad for good luck during the Chinese New Year.
Our first reunion dinner steamboat for this year's Chinese New Year.
Finally we get to meet again after almost 3 months!
Meeting up with Alfi 2 weeks before I'm due to deliver baby Nyla.
Indulging in my favourite Whopper burger before I'm ready to pop!

Nyla's photoshoot at 36 weeks in-utero
Although Nyla will be the third baby we're having, she's the first amongst our children to have her very own photoshoot even before she's born. Here are some of the pictures taken while she's 36 weeks in utero.
